The commentary
This is the first report by the new Director, Tamara Pfammatter, who can inform about a positive annual result. The revenue of around CHF 62 billion is in line with the budget, and the 2023 result exceeds the one of 2022 by around CHF 7 billion. The major part is the result of direct federal tax revenue of around CHF 28 billion and VAT revenue of around CHF 25 billion.
