When it comes to the number of resident millionaires with liquid investable wealth of USD 1 million or more, the US leads the pack with 11 cities in the top 50, including New York City, which has been clinging firmly to 1st place in the 2024 World’s Wealthiest Cities Report. The total wealth held by New York’s residents now exceeds USD 3 trillion, which higher than the total wealth held in most major G20 countries, and the city is home to a staggering 349,500 millionaires, 744 centi-millionaires (with investable wealth of over USD 100 million), 60 billionaires live in the city.
