The commentary

The current fine amounts to a phantastic RUB 2,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000  (100 RUB = 1.03002 USD), i.e. two sextillion roubles (i.e. 2×10 to the power of 36) have ammassed since 2021. This outrageously high fine is very remarkable and and very weird indeed as it is an amount that is beyond any sum any normal human being, even in an economic and/or a legal context, can imagine, and it is, therefore, highly improbable that the fine is ever going to be paid.

Fines like these are usually imposed as a means of exercing pressure or are symbolic measures, and one might even come to the conclusion that this amounts to coercion
