The commentary

Today, the Federal Council decided to amend the Ordinance on the Minimum Taxation of Large Corporate Groups (Minimum Taxation Ordinance). The amendment is due to the entry into force of the International Income Inclusion Rule (IIR). – With the IIR, a state covers companies domiciled in its territory for their under-taxed subsidiaries abroad.

The amendment will enter into force on 1 January 2025.
