The commentary
According to a recent study by the Sotomo Institute, 55 % of the companies surveyed have started to incorporate AI into their processes and 22 % have fully integrated it into specific projects.
Larger companies are more willing to use AI (52 % are in favour of it) than smaller companies (27 %).
Staff cuts are expected above all in the manufacturing, retail and industrial sectors: 20 % of companies anticipate job cuts. In contrast, only 7 % of information and communication companies expect job cuts. This growing acceptance underlines the wide range of potential applications of AI, from increasing productivity to revolutionising communication and marketing. Nevertheless, challenges remain, especially for smaller companies and sectors that rely heavily on human interaction.
