The case
The Swiss Confederation is expanding EasyGov.swiss into the central digital platform for businesses in Switzerland.
The commentary
As part of the strategic realignment and modernization of EasyGov, the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) conducted a public procurement procedure. The digital services required for the development and further enhancement of the new EasyGov platform were tendered in three separate lots. Further information is available via the link provided.
The project was launched in 2022 and entered the conceptual phase in 2024. Approval for the implementation phase is expected in mid-2026. The go-live of EasyGov 2.0 is planned for autumn 2027.
