Switzerland's Universities defend their position among the World’s Top Universities
The case
Switzerland continues to perform strongly in the latest QS World University Rankings, with ETH Zurich, École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and the University of Zurich all ranked among the world’s top 100 universities.

The commentary
ETH Zurich is ranked 8th globally, down one place from last year. EPFL remains 22nd, while the University of Zurich has moved up two ranks to 98th place.
For the 15th consecutive year, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) tops the rankings. The Imperial College London shares 2nd place with Stanford University, which moved up from 3rd place.
