The case

Swiss Press Photo 26 showcases the finest of Swiss photojournalism of the past year. The exhibition invites visitors with award-winning images to reflect on the events, stories and emotions that shaped an eventful year.

The commentary

Organised into six categories – News, Daily Life, Swiss Stories, People, Sports, and World – the exhibition highlights the richness and diversity of contemporary Swiss photojournalism.

A dedicated section honours the Swiss Press Photographer of the Year, Mario Heller, recognised for his reportage on Narva, the Estonian town on the Russian border. 

Swiss Press Photos are collected primarily for their artistic, documentary, and historical importance, rather than as financial investments. While individual works may appreciate in value, the market for contemporary Swiss press photography remains relatively small, limiting the potential for significant long-term price growth.
